Animated Short- Bravery Revisited VR

After a long decision with the team we felt the bat concept was too simple and we wanted to push our ability’s further and try VR in Unity. We discussed for a long time as we knew this was a big risk as we’ve never worked in this program before, it was suggested in the brief that we try real-time rendering so we thought why not try to do our animation in Unity with Vr.

After talking to Gerard he explained to us the struggles that we are most definitely going to face however he said we would face the same problems the other groups would have but obviously in a different way we obviously won’t experience rigging problems but then we have to worry about motion sickness.

I think this is a great opportunity to test are skills but also to experience another software. I think us doing this project is a great risk but I think the pay off will be amazing if we can pull this off and if we don’t well it was a great chance to experience something new.

Also after talking with Gerard he said it would be good if we use narrative to drive the story with visual graphics aiding the animation. I really like this idea and can’t wait to explore it further.
